About TinySolve

One website, a growing set of small tools, and a strong preference for getting out of your way.

The problem we are solving

Searching for something as ordinary as “compress a PDF” tends to lead to a page that wants an email address, pushes a desktop installer, stamps a watermark across the result, or makes you wait behind a countdown that exists only to show more adverts. The task itself takes two seconds. Everything around it does not.

TinySolve is built the other way round. Open a tool, do the thing, leave. No account, no trial, no watermark, and no queue.

How it works

Most of these tools do not need a server, so they do not use one. When you compress an image or merge a PDF here, the file is opened, changed and saved by your own browser. It is never transmitted to us, which means there is nothing for us to store, leak or hand over.

That is also why the tools are quick: there is no upload, no queue and no download of the result from somewhere else. The limit is your device, not our bandwidth.

A small number of jobs genuinely cannot be done this way. Where that is true, the tool says so plainly at the top of the page, and the privacy policy explains what happens to anything that does get sent.

What we will not do

  • Put a tool on the site before it works. A page that looks finished and then does nothing wastes your time.
  • Place adverts over the controls, or dress an advert up as a download button.
  • Claim a file stays on your device when it does not. That claim comes from how a tool is built, not from the marketing copy.
  • Require an account to use something that does not need one.

How it is paid for

The tools are free and will stay free. The plan is to cover hosting with advertising placed where it does not interfere — below a result, between sections of the explanation, or in the margin on a wide screen. Never above the tool, and never in the way of the button you came to press.

Getting in touch

Something broken, a wrong number, or a tool you wish existed? The contact page is the fastest route. Bug reports about a specific tool are especially welcome — they are the main reason things get fixed.
