Fancy Text Generator
Bold, italic, script and more — seventeen styles you can paste anywhere.

Type something above
Seventeen styles appear at once, each with a copy button. They work anywhere you can paste text — a bio, a username, a message.
None of these is a font — they are real Unicode characters that look like styled letters, which is why they survive being pasted anywhere. It also means a screen reader will read most of them out character by character or not at all, and search will not match them against the ordinary spelling. Each style says which kind it is above.
About the Fancy Text Generator
Type something and it appears in seventeen styles at once — bold, italic, script, fraktur, outline, monospace, circled, small caps, upside down, struck through, underlined and more. Each has a copy button, so getting one into a bio or a message takes a single tap.
The reason this works anywhere is that none of it is a font. Every character here is a real, separate Unicode character that happens to look like a styled Latin letter: the mathematical alphanumeric symbols, enclosed alphanumerics, fullwidth forms and so on, all defined decades ago for typesetting mathematics. That is why the styling survives being pasted into a profile field or a chat message that offers no formatting of its own.
It is also why the styles have real costs, which this tool states rather than hides. A screen reader encountering script or circled letters will read them out one character at a time or skip them entirely, so a name written that way is unreadable to anyone using one. Search will not match them against the ordinary spelling either — a bio in fancy letters is a bio nobody can find by searching your name.
Some styles are much better behaved than others, and each is labelled. Strikethrough and underline use combining marks placed over ordinary letters, so the underlying word is still there and still readable. Small caps uses real phonetic characters that most readers cope with. The mathematical alphabets are the ones to be careful with.
The practical advice: use them for emphasis on a word or two, not for your whole name or anything someone might need to search for. Everything runs in your browser and nothing you type is sent anywhere.
